"Protecting G-d's Children", a child protection course, is required for all parents who participate in events by Our Lady of Sorrows Church, our sponsoring organization. From time to time, OLOS will offer courses for all parents or adults participating in scouting events.
This program is open to any adult over the age of 17; children are not permitted because of the nature of the program. This is a one time training program that every person over the age of 17 is required to complete in order to teach or be an adult chaperone in any parish sponsored program that involves children, You may fill out the OLOS volunteer form ahead of time, and bring with you a valid photo ID to the class. It is highly recommended that you take the course with the OLOS in Sharon. If you are unable to make a program sponsored by OLOS, check here to see if another parish's schedule works better for you:
